Best pick, the Tre Brown ripple effect and remaining needs – The Athletic

The Seahawks completed the 2021 NFL Draft when they traded picks No. 250 and 217 to the Chicago Bears in exchange for pick No. 208 in the sixth round. With just three total selections, this is by far the smallest draft class Pete Carroll and John Schneider have had in their 12 years together. But Seattle in July figured pre-draft evaluations would be tougher than usual because of the pandemic so it’s not entirely surprising the scouting staff didn’t feel the need to load up on selections.

The picks

D’Wayne Eskridge, WR, second round, pick No. 56

Tre Brown, CB, fourth round, pick No.
